“Lala l7adga” is a nickname you hear in every Moroccan kitchen: the woman who cooks by instinct before she cooks by the gram, who can tell a tajine is ready from its smell alone, and who turns a handful of simple ingredients into a table that feeds the whole house. Our site grew out of that idea. We gather Moroccan recipes the way they are actually made in our homes, not just the way they look in a photo.
What you’ll find here
Authentic Moroccan dishes like tajine, couscous and harira, the sweets of Ramadan and celebrations such as chebakia and gazelle horns, plus recipes from around the world that we love and adapt with ingredients you can find anywhere. Every recipe is written in clear steps, with exact quantities, preparation times, and a few notes from our own experience so it works the very first time.
Our promise
Simple ingredients from any market, plain explanations with no jargon, and real photos of the dish. We test our recipes in an ordinary home kitchen and only write about them once they truly satisfy us. The goal is simple: anyone can open the site, cook, and get it right.
Why several languages
Moroccans live everywhere today, in Europe, in the Americas, in the Gulf. So we translated the site into Arabic, French, English, Italian, Spanish and German, so the taste of home reaches everyone who misses it, and so people who don’t know our cuisine yet can discover it.
Follow us on our Facebook page to get new recipes first. You are always welcome at our table.
